Get rid…and make it Snappy!
This summer has seen the rise of the ‘trendiest’, ‘comfiest’ and in my opinion, garish footwear ever made.
Crocs.

What originally began as an idea for a shoe intended for boating and outdoor purposes has now somehow made its way onto the fashion scene with a helpful foot or two from certain celebrities.
Apart from now being branded ‘fashionable’, doctors have praised their design as they have found that patients suffering from foot problems have found this type of footwear more comfortable to wear day in, day out. This is fair enough as anything that eases the pain is a good thing but its when I glance to the floor walking down the street and see middle aged men flaunting their feet in these monsters I begin to wonder…
These ‘Crocs’ may be the comfiest shoe ever made, but so are pyjamas and you don’t see people prancing down the high street dressed in them, do you?
Crocs are designed to be odourless and are vented to allow air to flow through and keep the feet fresh and make shoeless feet more attractive, lets face it, feet aren’t that beautiful anyway. But for me walking round in bare feet is much more attractive than having two gigantic, brightly coloured rubbers attached to the end of your legs.
No matter how comfy or beneficial these ‘Crocs’ are I still despise the fact that they are said to be ‘fashionable’, I’d rather dress in a plastic bin liner than be seen in these revolting rubber shoes, but according to recent headlines, looks like Kylie beat me to it!

I’m so glad you wrote this I’m fed up of seeing young trendy people like ourselves walking around with feet like beach balls! if your favourite celeb went out wearing y-fronts on their head would you do it?? No? exactly. (well i hope not anyway or you’re a bit of a silly willy really).
